TechJect's legal department is at the center of International Technology and information law revolution, and you're at its core. As a Litigation Paralegal, you are a driving force behind the success of your Legal team, ready to roll up your sleeves to create and improve processes, maintain records, conduct legal research and coordinate communications across the team. As you closely support your team, you may find yourself shortlisting, hiring and working with multiple outsourced Legal Department in multiple countries, internal clients across TechJect, and external parties. You're an independent thinker who isn't afraid to ask questions, and you're organized in a way that never overlooks the details.


  • Conduct internal research and investigations related to client, consumer complaints and Small Claims matters, including attending hearings overseas as needed.

  • Research and select international litigation firms and leading firms to take on suits and cases

  • Assist the Lead Attorney with factual investigations to respond to threats and/or active litigation, including responding to discovery requests and subpoenas.

  • Assist the Discovery Counsel in managing document preservation, collection, review and production procedures.

  • Work collaboratively with the litigation team, as well as other groups at TechJect, to ensure our internal systems work well with our discovery procedures; create and maintain internal resources to increase team efficiency and information sharing.

  • Supervise document retrieval and document production, and coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation matters and specific assignments, including reviewing preliminary advice and providing internal recommendations.

Desired Skills and Experience

Minimum qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of litigation experience with a law firm and/or in-house legal department

Preferred qualifications

  • International Litigation laws, especially in the United States.

  • 5 years of relevant work experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, including experience with complex electronic discovery, Internet technology and patent litigation, regulatory investigations and general litigation.

  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure; flexibility and willingness to work on a broad range of legal matters.

  • Ability to maintain a positive, constructive attitude in ambiguous situations and to manage complexity and high pressure in a productive manner.

  • Knowledge and experience with M.S. Office and Google Apps including Gmail, Google Drive, Documents, Excel Sheets, and Presentations.

  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to review and organize numerous documents in complex legal matters.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to professionalism and collegiality.
